When wildfires obscure your stunning mountain backdrop, your only choice is to waltz through a field, hand-in-hand and drink up that smokey sunset haze. Abbi and Joe had planned perfect sunset vistas for their photoshoot but in many ways, the cloudy atmosphere made every moment feel even more intimate and romantic.
Wiseacre Farm & Distillery was our first stop and it was beyond quaint . The property is rustic, complete with cows and chickens roaming in the pasture but it also houses a state of the art, shiny distilling facility. We could resist snapping some photos of the gleaming copper stills and with Archie the Land Rover, one of the many vintage cars found on the property.
No trip to Wiseacres is complete without a stop at the air stream (named Mable). Mable looked gorgeous adorned with string lights and Abbi and Joe just had to steal a quick dance under the alluring glow.
Next stop, some hillside shots to showcase the beautiful views of Kelowna, but due to the wildfires, there were none to see. Honestly, when all was said and done it wasn’t really the views we came for and it would have been hard to steal focus from Abbi and Joe.
