Fun story – I met Sarah when we were both having our hair done at Salon Nine – I told her that if she ever got married that she should hire me – and guess what? It actually worked!
Fast forward a year or so later to June 2021, Sarah called and asked me to photograph her intimate backyard wedding at her family home in Caledon, Ontario. The ceremony was beautifully framed by a gorgeous floral backdrop put together by the incredibly talented Krystal from Snowberry Botanicals.
As with most weddings nowadays, a lot of Sarah’s family were unable to make it because they live overseas. Luckily Sarah’s dad did a fantastic job of coordinating a live stream throughout the day.
After being officially married by a family friend, Sarah and Blake hopped on their live stream to say hi to friends and family celebrating from afar. Due to Covid restrictions that were in place at the time, there could only be 10 people in attendance at their Caledon wedding, so it was a very intimate day followed by a seated dinner and speeches.
