A Sunset Engagement Session at Guelph Lake

Rugs/Blanket/Pillows – Rug & Weave
I met Rand and Mostafa through my dear friend and wedding planner Jasmine Carriere, from All that Jaz Weddings, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Originally the wedding was planned for June, but due to Covid restrictions, Rand and Mostafa have had to move their date to September 2021.
Having an engagement session was something that was very important to Rand & Mostafa (and to me too!) It is one of the best to get to know a couple before a wedding day. They let me know on our initial call that they weren’t too keen on being in front of the camera and that they would need help feeling comfortable. But that’s my speciality!
From the get go they trusted me fully, from the timing of the day and location – and I had a little surprise in store for them! I asked Jess from Painted White Studios to come to Guelph Lake with us to style the session. As always, Jess went totally over the top and created the cutest little setup for us in the field – we even had Bliss Cookie Dough with gold spoons (LIVING!)
We had so much fun during our session and there wasn’t a hint of awkwardness. I had asked Rand and Mostafa to bring something sentimental with them, so they brought poetry books to read to each other! They even had a poetry book that Rand had written for Mostafa for an anniversary – it was beyond sweet!
I cannot wait for their wedding day at Alton Mills – thank you for trusting me with this vision!!
